8 Days Kenya Safari – Amboseli | Naivasha | Nakuru | Masai Mara

This 8-day safari offers an incredible mix of landscapes and wildlife experiences. Start in Amboseli with its famous elephant herds and Kilimanjaro backdrop, enjoy a relaxing boat safari and walking tour at Lake Naivasha, discover rhinos and flamingos at Lake Nakuru, and spend three unforgettable days in the Masai Mara — home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration (July–October).

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (240km, approx. 4 – 5 hrs)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner Depart Nairobi and drive south to Amboseli National Park, known for its vast elephant herds and magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner & overnight at Amboseli Camp/ Lodge

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Spend a full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. The park’s swamps attract hippos, elephants, and abundant birdlife, while its open plains provide sightings of lions, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes. Capture classic photographs of wildlife framed by Kilimanjaro. All Meals & overnight at Amboseli Camp/ Lodge

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha (Boat Ride & Crescent Island Walk) (340 km, approx. 6 – 7 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Early breakfast, drive via Nairobi and descend into the Great Rift Valley to reach Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. Afternoon, enjoy a boat ride to spot hippos and waterbirds, then a guided walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes. Dinner & overnight at Lake Naivasha Camp/ Lodge

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park (100km, approx. 2 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner A short drive takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its rhino sanctuary. Afternoon game drive with opportunities to spot white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, and (in season) flamingos. Dinner & overnight at Lake Nakuru Camp/ Lodge

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve (280km, approx. 5 – 6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner After breakfast, continue your journey through the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous reserve. Afternoon game drive to start your Mara adventure, searching for the Big Five and other wildlife. Dinner & overnight at Masai Mara Camp/ Lodge

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Spend a full day in the Mara with game drives across the vast plains. The reserve offers excellent chances of seeing lions, elephants, cheetahs, and leopards. Between July and October, the Great Migration brings dramatic wildebeest river crossings. Dinner & overnight at Masai Mara Camp/ Lodge

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Another day to explore the Masai Mara, either with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day safari with picnic lunch. Optional activities include a Maasai village visit or hot air balloon safari at sunrise. Dinner & overnight at Masai Mara Camp/ Lodge

Day 8: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Departure (265 km, approx. 5 – 6hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Breakfast & drive back to Nairobi for drop-off at your hotel or airport for onward travel.
