Day 1: NAIROBI – SAMBURU: (320Km: Approx. 6 hrs )

Pick up from your residence/ Hotel & Drive North through Kenya’s central highlands, viewing coffee, tea, sisal, and pineapple plantations crossing the Equator to Samburu Game reserve for game viewing. In addition to lions and elephants, you can expect to see the unique ‘northern species’ of reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra and the graceful long-necked gerenuk. Arrive at Samburu Camp/ Lodge, on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner & overnight at your Samburu Lodge/ Camp

Samburu is rich with large predators like lion and cheetah, and big grazers – buffalo and elephant. Its also famous for some unusual Northern species like Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, and the reticulated giraffe – animals you won’t commonly find.

Nearby Shaba and Buffalo Springs reserves are green oases promising more wildlife amongst their forests, woodlands, and surprising volcanic formations.

Day 2: Samburu

Morning and afternoon game drives to see more of Samburu’s typically northern species. The park’s vivid colors and sharp contrasts between sky, bush and sand makes Samburu a photographer’s favorite. Bird enthusiasts are well rewarded too.

Optional Visit to the local Samburu tribes and their villages.

Dinner & overnight at your Samburu Lodge/ Camp

Day 3: Samburu – Nairobi 320Km: Approx. 6 hrs )

After breakfast we depart for Nairobi arriving at Nairobi for lunch (own account). Afterwards transfer to JKI airport for departure flight or drop off at your Nairobi Hotel/ Residence

Meal Plan: Breakfast.

Safari Costs includes:

– Transportation in a Private safari minivan or Land cruiser with pop-up roof ideal for game viewing and sightseeing with services of a trained and experienced English-speaking driver/guide

– 2 nights Full board accommodation in the lodge as mentioned
