This grand 14-day safari offers the ultimate East African experience. Travel through Kenya’s dramatic highlands, the northern frontier of Samburu, the famous Masai Mara, and into Tanzania’s legendary northern circuit – Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. Your journey concludes in Amboseli, beneath the towering peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. Expect encounters with the Big Five, Samburu Special Five, and—if traveling between July and October—the Great Migration.

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park (The Ark Lodge) – 180Km, Approx 3 -4 hrs

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner Pick up from JKI airport/ Nairobi Hotel & drive north past tea/coffee & Pineapple plantations to the Aberdares. Lunch at Aberdare Country Club, then transfer to The Ark, overlooking a floodlit waterhole that attracts elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife at night. Dinner & overnight at The Ark Lodge

Day 2: Aberdares – Samburu National Reserve (200km, approx. 4 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Breakfast & continue north to Samburu, a rugged landscape along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Afternoon game drive introduces you to elephants, lions, and the Samburu Special Five (Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk). Dinner & overnight at Samburu Camp/ Lodge

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Full day of game drives in Samburu. Look out for leopards in riverine forests, elephants at the water’s edge, and unique birdlife. Dinner & overnight at Samburu Camp/ Lodge

Day 4: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy (150km, approx. 3 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Breakfast & Drive to Ol Pejeta, a private conservancy famous for rhino conservation. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, enjoy game drives, and learn about its pioneering conservation efforts. Dinner & overnight at Olpejeta Camp/ Lodge

Day 5: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru National Park (180km, approx. 4 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Breakfast & head south to the Rift Valley. Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru, home to endangered rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, and seasonal flamingos. Dinner & overnight at Nakuru Camp/ Lodge

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve (280 km, approx. 5 – 6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner After Breakfast, a journey across the Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive introduces you to the Mara’s abundant wildlife. Dinner & overnight at Nakuru Camp/ Lodge

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives, or full-day excursion with picnic lunch. Spot the Big Five and, in season, witness the Great Migration.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Serengeti National Park (via Isebania/Sirare Border) (380 km, approx. 7 – 8hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Breakfast & with picnic lunches, drive to Sirare Border (Kenya/Tanzania border) & cross into Tanzania and enter Serengeti. Afternoon game drive en route to camp. The Serengeti’s endless plains teem with wildlife year-round. Dinner & overnight at a Serengeti Camp/ Lodge

Day 9: Serengeti National Park

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Enjoy a full day exploring Serengeti. Game drives take you in search of cheetahs, lions, elephants, giraffes, and seasonal wildebeest herds. Dinner & overnight at a Serengeti Camp/ Lodge

Day 10: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater (150 km, approx. 3 – 4 hrs

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Early morning breakfast & with picnic lunches, drive to Ngorongoro. Descend 600 meters into the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for one of Africa’s most dramatic safari experiences. Later ascend the crater Dinner & overnight at a Ngorongoro Camp/ Lodge

Day 11: Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park (160km, approx. 3 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner After breakfast, drive to Tarangire, famous for its giant baobabs and large elephant herds. Afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner & overnight at a Ngorongoro Camp/ Lodge

Day 12: Tarangire – Amboseli National Park (via Namanga Border) – (300km, approx. 6 – 7hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Early breakfast & with picnic lunches, drive to Namanga border (Kenya/Tanzania border) via Arusha & cross back into Kenya. Drive to Amboseli, renowned for its elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro with game drive enroute to the Lodge/ Camps Dinner & overnight at Amboseli Camp/ Lodge

Day 13: Amboseli National Park

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Full day of game drives in Amboseli. Capture classic photographs of elephants against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. Dinner & overnight at Amboseli Camp/ Lodge  

Day 14: Amboseli – Nairobi – Departure (240km, approx. 4 – 5hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Enjoy a final early morning game drive. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi. Drop-off at hotel or airport for departure.
